Hosting
- Hosting is optional and quoted separately.
- We check whether your existing hosting works with the refreshed site before work starts.
- Some website builders require a hosting migration; if that applies to you we'll say so up front.
- All costs are agreed with you before anything begins.
- You keep your own domain name and email by default.
Refresh or rebuild
When a refresh is enough
A refresh is the right call when your website still says roughly the right things but looks dated: an enquiry-style site of up to three pages, existing copy and images you already own, and no shop or login behind it. We rework that material into a current, mobile-friendly design for a fixed $499.
A larger rebuild is the better fit when the site needs to do something new — an online shop or product catalogue, customer logins or a member area, complex booking or scheduling, new branding, or copywriting from scratch. Those sit outside the base package and are quoted as a separate scope.
Not sure which side you're on? Work through the website refresh checklist, or send your website address in the short refresh brief and we'll tell you which one suits before any work or cost is agreed.
Common questions
- What fits inside the $499 package?
- A refresh of an existing enquiry-style website: up to three content pages built from your current or supplied content, one design direction and one consolidated revision round. Shops, logins, custom functionality and large catalogues are scoped separately.
- What counts as three pages?
- Three content pages — for example Home, About and Contact. A page is one distinct page of content, not a section within a page. If you need more, we'll quote the extra pages before starting.
- Do I keep my domain name and email?
- Yes. You keep your domain and email by default. We don't take ownership of either, and mailbox migration isn't part of the base package.
- Do I have to use your hosting?
- No. Hosting is optional and quoted separately. We check your existing hosting for compatibility first; some website builders require a migration, and we'll tell you before any work starts.
- How many rounds of changes do I get?
- One consolidated in-scope revision round. Send all your feedback together and we work through it in one pass. Further rounds or out-of-scope changes are quoted separately.
- Will the SEO setup get me to the top of Google?
- No. Essential SEO setup means the technical basics are done properly — titles, descriptions, headings, image alternative text, sitemap and canonical setup. It does not guarantee rankings, traffic or enquiries.
